We are excited for Noah as he takes his next “Run for Rare” across Europe. The awareness he has brought for children with rare diseases is awe-inspiring.
The 33-year-old will take his Run for Rare across the Atlantic Ocean in July, starting in Ireland, where his grandfather was born. From there, he will head to the United Kingdom, Greece and Israel.
“I knew I was done running across America,” Coughlan said.
But he wasn’t done advocating for people who battle rare diseases such as Bertrand Might, the first documented case of N-glycanase deficiency. The extremely rare genetic disorder is marked by neurological impairment, movement disorder and reduced muscle tone.
